About Amanda
I’m a stay at home mama to my three children, 6, 4, and 2. I’ve recently started homeschooling and I am currently at the beginning of my second surrogacy journey!
Being a surrogate was nothing less than a blessing and I am so grateful to play a role in helping someone build their family. A little over 10 years ago, my brother came to me and told me he was gay. One of my first thoughts was that he wouldn’t be able to have children in a traditional way so I told him I’d gladly be his surrogate.
Though he has since decided to not have children, I still wanted to pursue surrogacy and help other couples. My first journey was a beautiful experience and the intended parents were able to start their family with their perfect baby girl after trying for nearly 8 years. I delivered a little over 39 weeks, at the peak of the pandemic, and it was still everything I imagined it would be.
To be able to help someone in a big way like that is indescribable. I instantly knew that I wanted to continue to do this for as long as I’m able to. I love being pregnant and there’s nothing like welcoming a sweet baby into this world and seeing their parents hold them for the first time. Surrogacy has brought me so much joy and I look forward to what’s to come.
