About Erica

I am married and have three children (3, 5, 12 – all girls). My husband and I got married in September 2019, but have been together for almost 10 years. I graduated UW-Stevens Point and currently work in IT at our local school district. I love being outdoors (except in winter) biking, exploring, relaxing, yard work; it does not matter as long as it gets me outside. I also enjoy being in the kitchen, to me there is nothing better than creating something delicious.

My journey to becoming a surrogate started back in 2016-2017 when I went with my (now) sister-in law to her first surrogacy transfer. She then became pregnant with twins and delivered in August of 2017. Being by her side throughout the entire thing, watching the process unfold, really helped me understand what it meant, entailed, and how much joy it created. I wanted to experience this. I wanted to help someone have their own family.

Fast forward to September of 2018, I was going to my first surrogacy transfer with my dad. It was successful and I delivered twins for a couple I now call friends. There were good and bad days, I will not lie. The strength, mentally and physically that it takes to do this, is not for everyone. However, for those that have this dream of “feeling like you have done something amazing” Seeing the happiness and love in the eyes of the parents holding their babies for the first time, all the struggle, delivery pain, 9 months of pregnancy, makes it all worth it. And for me and my family, we were able to have our dream wedding and purchase our forever home. I am currently in the contract phase of 2nd journey, and I cannot wait to give this new family the same happiness and joy.
