Meet Egg Donor A!

“I am very happy and proud to be an egg donor. If you are interested and eligible, I encourage you to become a part of changing lives.  There’s nothing more special than that! “

Q. What led you to become an Egg Donor?

I’ve always known there would come a day where I would be ready for children. That day hasn’t come for me just yet. But then I thought to myself “how many families out there have had their ‘day’”? The moment they knew they wanted children and, unfortunately, circumstances said otherwise. That’s when I knew. The gift of life is truly one of the most selfless acts a person can do and if I am to be able to help make dreams come true for any family, I’ll do it over and over again.

Q. Who offered the most support throughout your journey?

My FSC case manager, JOY REJHOLEC!!! Can we have a moment for Joy? I’m jumping for joy as we speak! This woman…there are no words to express how unbelievably grateful I am to have had the absolute privilege to work with Joy.  I have had three donations prior to this most recent one and this one was by far the “easiest” I could have asked for. As with anything in life, there are always obstacles that you have to go through but, Joy, she flew through every obstacle we ran into (and boy did we run into a few) with such grace and compassion.  Not once, throughout this whole journey, did I ever feel like Joy was not in my corner.  She was my biggest cheerleader through and through. She got things done! I would not have been able to do this without her.

Q. What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your intended parents?

I chose to keep my donations closed just for simply not knowing what the future holds. It’s also where my own comfortability and the intended parents’ comfortability is.

Q. Do you have any advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?

I am very happy and proud to be an egg donor. A letter from my most recent intended parents solidified that my decision in becoming a donor was the best decision I could have made.  Making dreams a reality!!   If you are interested and eligible, I encourage you to become a part of changing lives.  There’s nothing more special than that!
