Becoming an Egg Donor is not a process every woman considers, but if you are between the ages of 21-33, overall health, and have a genuine desire to help someone create or add to their family, there are many individuals and couples whose lives you could enrich forever.
You don’t have to be a “Top Model” to be the perfect Egg Donor for a Recipient Parent. Health is also a major consideration, as are compassionate characteristics and intelligence.
Essential Elements of Potential Egg Donors
TeamFSC is comprised of two mothers via Egg Donation and multiple staff members who have been Egg Donors themselves, so we are uniquely qualified to guide you through the process of Egg Donation.
If you’re considering becoming an Egg Donor, answering the questions below will help you decide if you meet the necessary requirements.
- Are you a U.S. resident?
- Are you between the ages of 21-33 years?
- Are you healthy overall with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 28 or lower?
- Have you graduated from high school?
- Are you willing to take medications via injection?
- Are you a non-smoker and do you not use illegal drugs?
- Are you mentally fit, with no known history of psychiatric illness?
- Have you had a pap-smear within the past year?
- Do you know at least half of your genetic make-up?
- Do you have reliable transportation?
- Are you Depo Provera shot free for at least 8 months and are you NOT on Nor-plant?
- Do you yearn to help a couple or individual who is otherwise unable to add to their family?

The Egg Donation Process
After completing an application with thorough answers, an interview with our Egg Donor Intake Manager is scheduled to discuss your answers and to explain the Egg Donation process.
Once you are selected by a Recipient, you will receive psychological and fertility clinic evaluations, and complete legal contracts before your Egg Donation cycle begins.
Eligible Egg Donor candidates are typically compensated $7,000-$10,000 per Egg Donation cycle, as well as paid medical, legal and travel expenses related to the Egg Donation process.
