My name is Becci. I have been married to my best friend for 15 years and we have 2 beautiful girls, “A” (age 14) and “K” (age 12). Nothing makes my heart happier than being a parent. Shortly after the birth of my daughter I wanted to be a surrogate. I just felt that surrogacy was bigger than me. To know that so many couples are unable to experience parenthood broke my heart. I didn’t understand. I knew no matter how “big” it was I had to do it. I researched a couple agencies, found one and was matched!! Wow!! This was really happening. I was matched with a local couple and they were able to be there every step of the way. In March 2010, we welcomed twins!
After visiting the twins one afternoon, I knew that only helping one couple wasn’t enough for me and I started my search again-this time for a local agency. I found Family Source Consultants, read their reviews and knew I had to contact them. I received a call from Zara and she more than answered all my questions. She later sent me a profile of a couple from Spain and I fell in love with the IPs. I was a bit nervous with them being so far away, but my nervousness quickly subsided as we spoke almost daily. In October 2013, they were finally holding their little boy! I couldn’t be happier! To be able to watch him grow up along with the twins makes my heart happy.
This past January, Zara reached out to me to touch base and to see if I would be interested in another journey – OF COURSE!!!! I was matched with another great couple from Spain. We spoke daily and they were able to be here for the birth of their beautiful little girl. Seeing them glow over their daughter brings tears to my eyes. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them along with my other surro-families.
I was truly blessed to be matched with such incredible couples. I am completely over the moon and glad that I chose to be a surrogate.
