I’m Tara. I’m 29 years old and have been married to the love of my life for 6 years now. We have two beautiful 4-year-old boys. After having them I cannot imagine my life any different.
My husband and I went through several fertility treatments in order to have our children. Eventually with the aid of IVF we found out we were having twins. We were over the moon. After our children were born I began thinking more and more about all the people who are not as lucky as we were. I really wanted to give back and began thinking about options. I originally thought about surrogacy shortly after they were born but with my job it wasn’t a possibility. A few years later my job had changed and I revisited the idea of surrogacy. That is when I found Family Source. I was so excited.
I began my journey and was matched with a single father from Italy. I knew it was a perfect match. I am so excited to see what the future holds for him and his father. I know he will have all the love and support he will ever need. I am so grateful for Family Source and hope to do another journey with them in the future.
