After waiting in the open adoption pool unsuccessfully, we dove head first into Surrogacy with the support and expertise of FSC, whom we choose after extensively researching all our options across the country. We had great support through all the ups and downs and had a very successful retrieval from an incredible Egg Donor and we can’t wait to transfer to our Surrogate.
The hardest part of our journey was when our first Egg Donor journey fell through during the early stages because of medical reasons, but in general simply the waiting to hear medical results!
The best part of our journey was seeing a photo of the smile on our Egg Donor and her daughter’s face prior to the retrieval and knowing this woman’s selfless love and generosity will forever be a part of our child.
