What led you to become an Egg Donor?

I’ve always known I wanted to help people and couples who were struggling with infertility or who just didn’t have the ability to grow their families; however, I didn’t know how to. When I met Staci, she explained to me how I could help. She notified me that there were people and couples all over the world who were looking for Egg Donors and Surrogates to make their dreams a reality and I was instantly drawn to the idea of helping by being an egg donor.

Who was your most significant support person(s) throughout your journey?

In my personal life, my husband has been my biggest support person. He is always pushing me to follow what I want to do, and he understands how important being an Egg donor is to me. And with FSC, everyone I’ve come across is completely supportive, and I appreciate that!

What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your Intended Parents?

My previous 4 donations have been anonymous, and I’ve always been fine with that. However, my fifth donation is semi-open, which, thus far, I have enjoyed a lot. I’ve been talking to my Intended Parents and just learning more about them. Knowing their story makes me more committed to this journey. I’ve loved every journey. I love all my Intended Parents and I wish nothing but the best for them. I’ve always just been open with whatever the Intended Parents want.

Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?

My advice is, enjoy every step of the journey. Every step has something BEAUTIFUL with it. And don’t be scared to ask questions! Everyone at FSC is open to answering all your questions. Both clinics I’ve worked with in the past (FCI and FCLV) are also very open to answering any questions.  So never be afraid to ask questions and enjoy every step!

My first four journeys I worked with Adriana, I absolutely love her. She was always very understanding of my schedule and always checked in on me! She was always just a phone call away. My current coordinator is Claire. She’s a sweetheart and always makes sure to answer all my questions. FSC has always been very supportive, and I love how they always make sure to celebrate you and everything you’ve done for your IPs!  I can’t imagine going through these journeys without having FSC!
