What led you to become an Egg Donor?
I love the idea of being able to help people achieve their dreams of becoming parents and starting their own families! There is something extremely fulfilling about helping intended parents on their fertility journey!
Who was the most significant support person(s) throughout your journey?
My donor coordinator, Rebecca, has been my go-to person since starting my journey with FSC. She has been such an amazing help and support throughout the entire process of egg donation!
How did you choose which type of egg donation you’d like (closed/open/semi-open)? Why did you choose this type?
I chose to go along with whatever type of donation my intended parents are comfortable with. In my experience, the intended parents I worked with chose an open donation and it has been such an amazing experience getting to know them and help them on their journey to becoming parents!
What advice would you offer to someone who is interested in becoming an egg donor?
I would say make sure you are considering egg donation for the right reasons. The financial compensation is great, but you play such a crucial role in your future intended parents’s story. Choosing to be an egg donor is choosing to provide the gift of a potential child to someone longing for one.
Do you know the outcome of your donation? How do you feel about the outcome?
I do know the outcome of my most recent donation as it is an open donation. I feel extremely happy and grateful for the intended parents I got to work with as they were able to get a great outcome with the amount of eggs that were retrieved and the amount of embryos that were created!
How do you feel about your experience working with Family Source Consultants?
FSC has been am amazing company to work with and to represent! They have been extremely helpful and supportive during my entire journey as an egg donor! I look forward to working with them again in the future!
