Meet C!

“Being an egg donor with FSC has been a rewarding and life enriching experience in a way I didn’t experience with previous donations to an egg bank. I’ve had nothing but great, personal care and support from everyone I’ve worked with and recommend them to everyone I know that is considering egg donation.”

Q. What led you to become an Egg Donor?

I’m a mom of two and the oldest of four siblings (and many cousins!). Kids have always been a big part of my life and I love them. I’ve witnessed close friends go through the heartbreak of infertility and I truly believe that everyone deserves the chance to be parents. I’d like my eggs I no longer need to go to someone who will love and cherish the little people that will come of them.

Q. Who was your largest support person(s) throughout your journey?

My husband is my biggest support system. He is an amazing person that loves and cares for me in every aspect of the word. He’s been my rock throughout our life together, including my journey as an egg donor.

Q. What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your Intended Parents?

Personally I am open to whatever the IPs are comfortable with. I know that an egg donor is not always peoples’ first choice in conceiving and to come to the realization that you need one is not an easy one. This is your path to parenthood and I want you to feel at ease and to be as comfortable as possible during both my part and yours.

Q. Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?

Egg donation is a very fulfilling, selfless act you can do to brighten someone’s life. Make sure you have a good support system in place and lead with your heart.
