Julie Family Photo (1024x683)

My name is Julie. My husband Monte and I have been married for 15 years and we have 3 wonderful kids, Nia 13, Leyton 10 & Kye 5.  I work part time for an insurance agent and my husband is a pilot.  I first started considering becoming a gestational surrogate in 2011 when my brother and sister-in-law were experiencing infertility.  My heart broke for them because they had been exhausting every avenue to become parents and nothing seemed to be working.  I volunteered to be there GS in March of 2011 and by January of 2013 I gave birth to their daughter CJ.   It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!  About a year later, in March of 2014 I was thinking about doing it again. With my brother’s family complete, I started looking into agencies for another GS journey.  I found FSC online and filled out the application.  That week I was contacted by Zara and sent a profile which turned out to be a perfect match!  In June I went in for my medical screening and in September we transferred one 5 day blast which resulted in a positive pregnancy test one week later!  I met my IPs at the 7 week ultrasound where we saw one beautiful baby with a strong heartbeat.  It was an amazing experience watching my intended mom cry tears of joy at seeing her baby for the first time.  They have made two additional trips down to attend both the 20 week ultrasound and a special 3d/4d ultrasound at 32 weeks.  Each time we get together I realize how lucky I am to be part of this amazing journey!   Baby girl is due May 30th and we are scheduled to be induced May 27th.  I know my IPs are so ready to meet their baby girl and I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when they see and hold her for the first time.  FSC, Zara and Tracy have been amazing to work with and I could not have asked for a better experience! They truly make miracles happen everyday =)
