Q: What led you to become a Surrogate?

The thought of being pregnant again (knowing i was done making my own family) and help create a family for another couple just made my hear so warm. I knew it was the right thing to do!

Q. Who was/is your greatest support person/s throughout your journey?

My largest support was my significant other and my 2 children. My SO too as much pressure and stress (maybe some pregnancy fat too 😂) off of me as he could. My children constantly made sure me and baby were ok. From belly rubs, foot massages and doing extra chores for me..it wasn’t so bad!

Q. What made you decide to choose your Intended Parents?

My IP’s felt very personable. It was very easy to talk to them the second we met. By far one of the best relationships Ive made in years with someone.

Q. Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming a gestational surrogate?

Do your research, be patient, take time to find the right couple. You’ll know when that is ❤

Q. What did you find was the biggest misconception people had about surrogacy?

I was completely unaware of how much this journey would mean to me.

Q. What would you like other people to know about surrogacy?

Q. How has becoming a surrogate impacted your life?

I have made amazing life long friends as well as being able to add to a savings for my children.

Q. How was this pregnancy different from your other pregnancies?

My keepers were completely smooth. No issues at all. My surrogacy journey i had every pregnancy symptom there is!

Q. What did you do to prepare yourself for separating from the baby after it was born?

By this time i was just SO ready. I was swollen, could barely move and just so uncomfortable. I was ecstatic to be giving this amazing gift to babies parents.

Q. What would you tell someone who was considering working with a surrogate?

Do your research, take your time finding a match and really enjoy every moment. Its a life time change and experience that is so amazing.

I honestly had no clue what I was getting into – the process, what was needed or anything. I went back and forth for a few months with an intake coordinator and she was amazing. There was no pressure at all. She let me decide and was there to answer any and every random question I had. Once getting everything that was needed I met my case coordinator. Wow! She was amazing. She handled literally EVERYTHING. She made the entire process of this journey so easy for me. I know everyone’s circumstances are different but I had no issues what so ever. I LOVE this agency and hopefully will be able to do my last and final journey with them!
